Ex Comets

Marquee Stage: Saturday 29 July

Space-rock sextet Ex Comets claim to hail from Leicester via Area 51 and to have been born from the remnants of exploded stars, which is technically true, if not incredibly specific.

More recently the atoms that make up their bodies have been part of We Three and the Death Rattle, Codex Leicester and Death of London. Their debut single Old Cool Red was championed by indie taste making legend John Kennedy on his XFM Xposure radio show, as well as gaining airplay from Amazing Radio and BBC Introducing.

So far in their short life they have already shared stages with Amazing Snakeheads, Cheatahs, Lola Colt and raised the roof at Handmade Festival 2015 . Ex Comets debut EP Extra Terrestrial Chemistry is available from Robot Needs Home.

Round up the Rocketeers – their transmission begins now.
